Millions of Monkeys

This helps me understand the way the bailout works, such as crooked to the core.

I got the below from a site I belong to.

MILLIONS OF MONKEYS

Posted by CONNIE on December 27, 2008 at 8:36am

Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each.

The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He next announced that he would now buy monkeys at $20 each. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so scarce it was an effort to even find a monkey, let alone catch it! The man now announce d that he would buy monkeys at $50 each! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would buy on his behalf. In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers: ‘Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has already collected. I will sell them to you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each.’ The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the monkeys for 700 billion dollars.

They never saw the man or his assistant again, only lots and lots of monkeys!

Now you have a better understanding of how the WALL STREET BAILOUT PLAN WILL WORK !!!!

About the Nebraska Safe Have Law

The Nebraska Safe Haven Law is probably the greatest thing that has been done for parents with children out of control.
It is almost impossible to get real help for a child that is out of control and/or with ODD, conduct disorder or is a psychopath. And, YES, such children do exist.
You call one of the numbers suggested by the school counselor for Heartland Family Services and they tell you it will be 1 or 2 weeks before they can see the child. You agree, say fine put me on the list, then they say you should call Lutheran Family Services. Okay, I call Lutheran Family Services and tell them the whole story about the child. They say it will be 4 to 6 weeks so I should call Heartland Family Services. I tell them that HFS referred me to them. They say call them back anyway. Soooo.... I call HFS again. They say, this time, they can't help the child as he needs a psychiatric evaluation so I need to look in the phone book and find one.
I emailed the child's school counselor to let him know how the places he referred me to were of no help. He said if things get out of control (they have been) and/or the child is in danger of hurting himself or others to take him to Immanuel Emergency for an emergency psychiatric evaluation. Well, I had to tell the school counselor we already tried that and the child never even saw a doctor. After 5 hours of questions from a nurse, mostly asked of the child, we heard her on the phone with the doctor saying, "I feel sorry for the kid". Then we were sent home.
So in Nebraska, a child can harm animals, destroy whatever he wants whenever he gets a chance, start fires, hurt others, makes sharp objects our of anything he can, steal, lie, not do homework or classwork, look at porn on the school's computer, hurt himself, never follow a single rule, never contributes in a positive manner to the family or home, and never ever show remorse or change one single bit for the better and manipulate counselors, therapists, the school, and anyone who will listen to him and there is no help for the family he lives with. They have to tolerate the abuse somehow. And that is not even all of the bad choices he makes. The parent and grandparent has to find a way to not let this child with problems destroy the lives of his younger brothers.
Can you understand now why some parents or guardians are taking advantage of the Nebraska Safe Haven Law while they can? What some of them don't know is that if they do use that law their perfectly wonderful healthy children could be taken away from them if the child with problems comes up with lies about life at his home. Which our problem child would probably do. Otherwise, he would have been gone the first day the law went into effect.
We do what we can to help him, but, we do not let him control our lives or ruin it anymore. He has said he does not care and does what he does because he wants to. He thinks rules are stupid and does not care about the consequences of his actions. He is now 13 years old and has had serious problems since he was 4 years old. Nine years with NO CHANGE AT ALL except for the fact that he is getting worse.
He has had counseling, seen therapists, even been on medication. Nothing has helped and we have tried these things for years. On the medication and counseling and therapy he only got worse at home. None of the mental health professionals would listen to us. They don't live with this child so they don't understand what we have to live with and how he lies to and manipulates them. Or, they want to keep him in their system just for the profit they can get from treating him.
We want real help for him and we do not want to let the mental health system abuse the insurance companies.
Now Nebraska is about to change to age limit on the Safe Haven Law from up to 18 years of age to 3 days old. How stupid, from one extreme to another. Hopefully they will come up with something reasonable.

I forgot

I seemed to have forgotten about this blog space.
But, why do I need another? No matter what is posted anywhere, people still seem to be clueless about what is really happening around them.
We all have different opinions, but, when the Constitution is being ripped apart and the economy is going down the toilet, are you still just going to sit there and let the politicians keep crapping on you?
No, we don't need to fear or quit being happy, but, be aware of what is going on people.
Don't just believe what you are being told, dig a little bit and maybe you will see things are not as they seem.
Yes, the economy sucks and prices are rising. We have to follow the laws so lets make sure EVERYONE all the way up the ladder follows the law, also.
